This image is very powerful. The black and white shows all the depth in the wrinkles. This image shows how hardworking this person was and the amount of life they have on their hands. It gives you a certain feeling of beauty. It makes the aging effect on our bodies look beautiful. The way the hand is covering the right eye adds unbalance to the image which in my opinion makes it much more powerful.
